Yesterday’s trading was balanced on the win-rate side but still constructive in terms of execution and net result. We took 8 trades across EURUSD, US30, US500, NAS100, and XAUUSD, finishing with 4 winners, 4 losers, and a net gain of 154.6 pips.
The key point is not the 50% hit rate, but the quality of trade management. The session suggests winners were allowed enough room to work while losing trades stayed controlled. That is the kind of structure we want to preserve, especially after a mixed tape where index flows and gold volatility can quickly punish late entries.
From a risk perspective, the takeaway is simple: the book produced a positive result without needing a high win rate. That is healthy, but it also means we should not overextend today just because yesterday closed well.

There are no high-impact red news events scheduled today, so the market is likely to lean more on technical structure, liquidity pockets, and session-based order flow rather than one major scheduled catalyst. That can make price action cleaner, but it can also create false confidence when volatility is thin.
XAUUSD remains on the watchlist after recent activity. Without a major news trigger, I want to see whether gold respects intraday support and resistance zones before committing. A clean rejection or breakout with volume is preferable to chasing the middle of the range.
NAS100 is also worth monitoring, particularly around the U.S. cash session. If momentum builds early, continuation setups may be valid, but if price starts rotating without direction, patience is the better trade. No red news does not mean no risk; it simply means we need to be more disciplined with levels, timing, and position size.
Plan for the day: trade selectively, avoid forcing entries during quiet periods, and treat yesterday’s strong pip result as a base to protect rather than a reason to increase exposure.
