Friday’s session was a clean finish to the week for our XAUUSD book. We took 11 trades, closed 8 winners and 3 losers, and ended with +286.4 net pips. That is a strong result, but the important point is not just the headline number. The session rewarded patience around gold’s intraday volatility rather than aggressive chasing after the first move.
The better trades came from waiting for structure to confirm: pullbacks into workable zones, cleaner rejection, and measured follow-through. Losses were contained, which kept the day from becoming emotionally driven. That matters on Fridays, when liquidity can thin out quickly and late-session moves often become less reliable.
There is no high-impact news scheduled ahead, so the next focus is simple: respect the range, avoid overtrading quiet conditions, and keep position size tied to actual volatility rather than last week’s profit. A strong Friday is useful only if it does not lead to loose risk on Monday.

Crypto enters the weekend in a more technical environment than a headline-driven one. With fewer scheduled catalysts, the market is likely to pay close attention to liquidity pockets, leverage positioning, and whether recent support zones continue to hold under lighter weekend volume.
BTC: Bitcoin remains the main reference point for overall risk appetite in crypto. The key question is whether buyers can keep absorbing dips without forcing a rushed breakout. A steady grind is healthier than a sharp weekend spike, because sudden moves during thin liquidity can reverse just as quickly. For BTC, we want to see consolidation above recent demand areas and controlled volume on pullbacks. If price starts rejecting lower levels cleanly, the setup favors continuation. If support gets tested repeatedly without bounce quality, caution comes first.
ETH: Ethereum has been more about follow-through than first reaction. ETH traders should watch whether it can maintain relative strength when BTC pauses. If ETH holds firm while Bitcoin consolidates, that usually signals deeper market participation rather than a one-coin move. The risk is that failed upside attempts can invite quick deleveraging, especially when perpetual positioning becomes too crowded. For now, the better approach is to avoid buying emotional candles and instead look for controlled retests.
SOL: Solana remains the higher-beta name in this group. That makes it attractive when momentum is broad, but less forgiving when the market gets choppy. SOL can move fast, but it also punishes late entries. The cleaner structure is to wait for price to reclaim and hold short-term levels before assuming strength. If BTC and ETH are stable, SOL can outperform. If the broader tape softens, SOL is usually where excess leverage gets exposed first.
For the weekend, the trading plan is straightforward: reduce impulse trades, be selective with leverage, and do not treat low-volume breakouts as confirmed until they hold. BTC gives the market direction, ETH confirms depth, and SOL shows where risk appetite is strongest or weakest.
