Weekly Crypto Recap & Execution Log | 2026-06-13

Continental Briefing — Saturday, 13 June 2026

Part 1 — Previous Session Review: Preservation Over Participation

Friday’s session, dated 12 June 2026, was handled with restraint. LibertyTrader executed 0 trades, with capital preservation mode active throughout the day. That was not a passive decision; it was a deliberate response to a market tape offering limited clean risk-to-reward opportunities.

When the market does not provide structure, forcing exposure usually creates more problems than it solves. The priority was to avoid marginal entries, protect account equity, and wait for conditions where price action is more readable. A flat book is still a position, especially when volatility is uneven and conviction is low.

Looking ahead, there are no high-impact news events currently scheduled. That reduces headline risk, but it does not remove execution risk. Thin liquidity, weekend positioning, and sudden crypto-driven volatility can still create sharp moves. The plan remains simple: stay patient, respect invalidation levels, and only participate when the setup is clear.

Part 2 — Weekly Crypto Recap: BTC, ETH and SOL

This week’s crypto market was more about structure than spectacle. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana all showed periods of directional intent, but none delivered the kind of clean, broad-based momentum that justifies aggressive positioning without confirmation.

Bitcoin (BTC) remains the primary guide for overall crypto sentiment. The key issue is whether buyers can keep defending higher-timeframe support while absorbing supply near resistance. A controlled pullback would not be a problem; a sharp break with poor recovery would be more concerning. For now, BTC still demands patience rather than prediction.

Ethereum (ETH) traded with a slightly more cautious tone. The market continues to watch whether ETH can regain relative strength versus BTC. Until that happens, rallies may remain more selective and vulnerable to profit-taking. A stronger ETH close above recent resistance would improve the setup, but chasing mid-range price action still carries unattractive risk.

Solana (SOL) remains the higher-beta name among the three. That creates opportunity, but also demands tighter risk management. SOL can move quickly when liquidity improves, yet failed breakouts can reverse just as fast. Traders should be especially careful with leverage here, as weekend conditions can exaggerate both upside and downside moves.

For the weekend, the crypto plan is straightforward: avoid emotional entries, reduce size where volatility is unclear, and wait for price to confirm direction. BTC sets the tone, ETH needs relative strength, and SOL requires disciplined execution. Capital comes first; opportunity comes second.
